Advanced optical projection techniques is employed using polarised light to achieve a visually attractive, rapidly repeatable display of crystal growth. Visitors have control over a crystallisation process and are able to examine the effects of differential rates of crystallisation on crystal size. Optically they are able to explore colours and shapes.
